This series of metric adapter assemblies accommodates standard small bore bearings. They are the most commonly used method for locating tapered bore ball or roller bearings onto a cylindrical shaft. This series of adapters is used with 223 and 232 series spherical roller bearings.

- Standard Locknut sets the industry locknut standard
- Can be mounted directly to a straight shaft or on against the step on a stepped shaft for accurate axial positioning.
- Adapter sleeves and KM locknuts can be reused, provided they are not damaged. A new lockwasher or locking plate should be used each time the corresponding locknut is installed.
- Conforms with ABMA, SAE and ABEC standards for bearing and power transmission applications. Unless otherwise specified, manufactured from AISI grade 1000 or 1200 series steel.
- Bearing bore surface finish will not exceed 100 microinches for sizes 00-10, 120 microinches for sizes 11-22, and 150 microinches for sizes above 22.
