SAF509
Durable cast-iron housings for spherical roller bearings in general industrial applications. The split-housing design simplifies assembly and service. Standard base-to-shaft center, bolt hole slots, and envelope dimensions match industry standards for 222 series spherical roller bearings. Tapered bore mount design speeds installation time.

- SAF509 through SAF520 sizes have two bolt holes standard.SAF522 and above have four bolt holes.For sizes SAF515 through SAF520, four-bolt versions contain a prefix “F”.
- Grade 8 bolts fasten cap to base.
- Triple ring seals (LER series), and stabilizing ring (SR series) for fixed mounting, are included with pillow block.End caps sold separately.
- Oil return holes machined in the block protect the bearing from contamination.
- Multiple lubrication ports allow for either grease or oil lubrication.
- Machined G7 housing fit as a standard.
- Matched doweled base and cap sets facilitate exact alignment during installation.
- Cast from ASTM grade A48 Class 30 cast iron.Steel and Ductile iron versions available.
